If for no other reason own gold and silver because of what happened on 9 September 2001. It doesn't matter what you believe really happened that day, the fact it happened is all that matters. This event was literally ground zero for the US$, the day the world realized the USA was not a fortress, that the empire can be attacked (from within or without it matters little). Now we are at the stage were the big players are openly calling for a new world currency, the empire is falling. The Roman empire lasted 1480 years, yet it fell, all empires fall, and when they do it is never pretty. The barbarians are within the city walls, it won't be long now.
